I help companies turn marketing into a revenue driving system

Nightlife venues. Waste management. Wedding services. Different industries, same playbook: position marketing to deliver compounding revenue.
I’ve been a business owner and an employee. I’ve been a leader and a follower.
That means when I'm working on your marketing, I'm not thinking about campaign metrics in isolation. I'm thinking about what it costs to acquire a customer, what keeps them coming back, and whether the spend is justified.
I've also spent eight years on the employee side, helping scale a waste management company's revenue from the ground up. So I understand both perspectives — the founder watching every dollar and the team member who needs resources to execute.
The practical result: I build marketing systems, not one-off campaigns. SEO, email, content, funnels — connected together so they compound over time.
My family and I recently moved to Adelaide from Omaha, Nebraska. We're here permanently, and I'm looking for an organisation that wants this kind of thinking applied to their growth.
WHAT I DO
The system, in four parts.
Most marketing roles hire for one of these. I've spent 15+ years doing all four — because in the businesses I've built, there was nobody else to hand them off to.
Brand Strategy
Positioning, voice, narrative development. Making sure your organisation sounds like one thing across every channel — and that the one thing is differentiated enough to matter.

RESULTS
Three businesses. Same approach. Different industries.
When I joined Hillside, they had some trucks, a handful of commercial customers, and an industrial composting facility. But no story or market awareness.
After 8 years, I helped them secure five Google data center accounts, created a D2C subscription service with automated onboarding for 1,800 households, and wrote the submission that got us a national award. All while scaling company revenue 29x over 7 years, averaging 56% YoY growth with no down years.
Above is a recap I put together showcasing the video content I helped create and the media mentions I secured.
Oh, and I created the various websites under the company umbrella, Hillside Solutions, Gretna Sanitation, Soil Dynamics, and Hillside Fund.

Going from mobile event promoter to venue owner by age 28
My marketing chops started as a byproduct of wanting an audience as a young DJ. After about 4 years of experimenting with different concepts and venues, I landed on a repeatable format that was pure gold.
I created a pop-up dance party in 2006 called loom - Weaving the Social Fabric Through Dance. At the time, we were in the post-rave era. Dance music had a terrible reputation. So we rebranded into something more organic-sounding. We skipped typical venues. Found a sexy little-known Spanish tapas restaurant in a dodgy neighborhood. And since Saddle Creek Records was all the rage at the time (Omaha has always had a preference towards live music), we added a rotating cast of percussionists, sax, and trumpet players to collab with the DJs.
It worked wonders. We rode that wave as a monthly event for over 5 years. Then, the unexpected happened …
By 2011, we had an investor help flip it into an event venue called House of Loom, naturally. Think of it as part lounge and part dance club that became a music, art, and cultural institution. Millennials still recall it fondly. I should turn the photos into a coffee table book — they’re incredible.
For five and a half years, I pumped out a weekly newsletter, optimized our Facebook & Instagram channels (the golden era of social marketing), and designed more flyers and posters than I care to count. All while booking, marketing, and conceptualizing over 2,000 events.
In the process, we never had to do an owner capital injection, always made payroll, and had plenty of owner distributions.
From the success of this endeavor, I was also an investor in Omaha’s first craft cocktail bar called The Berry and Rye (which still exists today). Highlights from that include getting a spot on Jon Taffer’s Bar Rescue show as an example of “a bar doing it right.” And our head bartender featured in GQ magazine.
Generating $65k AU in revenue annually with this D2C funnel
They say most Millennials have a side hustle. Mine is a wedding DJ booking agency.
Am I passionate about DJing weddings? No. But I’ve had a blast building this from an occasional solo weekend gig to pay for diapers into a 10+ DJ roster booking 100 weddings a year.
And the best part? I no longer do much of the work.
Thanks to a virtual assistant and business partner, the customer service, marketing, and client-discovery meetings are mostly covered.
Here’s a metric for ya: Those client-discovery meetings used to last an hour. But thanks to this video and marketing funnel, I cut the average meeting down to 25 minutes while 4x’ing the bookings. Sometimes they send a deposit without ever talking to us! Check it out here.

About Me
For 15 years, I helped shape Omaha’s cultural scene — opening acclaimed venues, winning DJ awards, and mastering how to build community through experience. As a teen, I jumped into entrepreneurship with DJing and event organizing. This led to owning and operating a nightclub at 28 and opening my hometown’s first craft cocktail lounge (which still exists today).
Along the journey, I learned a lot about scaling, branding, and marketing.
Then in 2018, I pivoted from packed clubs to planet-friendly waste solutions when I joined a composting and recycling start-up. I was able to increase their revenue 29x in 8 years.
The trick?
I used B2B campaigns, content strategy, brand storytelling, and digital funnels to drive a sustainability movement in my community.
Going from nightlife to solid waste was quite a jump. And while they are indeed completely separate industries, the constant throughout my career is this: when I get into something, I do it well. I set trends, I lead movements, and I turn ideas into successful business ventures.
And now I’m bringing that momentum to Adelaide.
